Do not buy this printer!

After a week or so, we got the error message "transfer belt error". After about a month without a printer, and several replacement transfer belts that didn't help, Samsung finally sent out a local support person. Two visits later he finally got it working again.

However now the print quality for black content is terrible. Text is all blurry. They suggested shaking the black toner container, but it did not help. We are going to try some replacement toner, but at $60 per color, its going to be expensive to find out if it helps.

I just wish we had bought locally instead of with Amazon, so we could return it. I'm very disappointed with Samsung, and I'm unlikely to buy anything from them again.

What he is saying is true, We bought 2 ofthis units and is hard to know that now that we are "married" with them for a while is going to be a long road and lots of bumps.

Toner is very expensive, small cartridges, the do not last, also transfer belt, imaging units has to be replaced constantly (we've done both twice). We think that is why Samsung sell the units relatively cheap, they make lots of money selling the consumables, you have no other choise than to pay their high prices, or loose the original investment.

Thats right I have one and since the first day gave a lot of problem, I used about ten time on two years and now stop working for all, inop danado, .....

I have one of this printer and its a nightmare, I am very disappointed that I have invested in this piece of nonsense. I donot reccommend it any one. The parts are expensive and no one is available to answer your concerns.

I purchased one of these units for our small business a couple years ago and have problem after problem. To start with samsung was good about sending someone out to fix the problem but after having to replace the parts every couple of months and then eventually the whole unit they decided that they were not going to do anymore after it ran out of warranty (even knowing that it was the same problems I had during the warranty). Basically I was told "sorry about your luck." I purchased from a local Staples store and by the time samsung was done the store would not do anything either. I will never pruchase samsung anything again and will discourage anyone else from pruchasing samsung.

Constant problem here also. No help from Samsung
